Sarah Lathrop, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, has lived in Florida since 2013. Upon graduating from Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana with a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in Business, Sarah moved to Sanibel Island, Florida, to serve as the Associate Director for the “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society – Friends of the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge. Sarah joined the Corkscrew team in October 2019.
While Sarah would love to be the biologist working out in the backcountry of Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, biology and chemistry were not her strengths in college. She loves sharing her passion for wildlife and wild places with like-minded conservationists to raise support for all of the amazing work taking place at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary.
