All animals and plants in the sanctuary are protected. Please take only photos and memories.We recommend that you bring water, bug spray, binoculars, and a camera when you explore the boardwalk.

We recommend that you bring water, bug spray, binoculars, and a camera when you explore the boardwalk. (Water bottles, bug spray, and binocular rentals are available in the Blair Audubon Visitor Center.)

Please silence your cell phones and put on vibrate mode.

To hear and see more wildlife on your visit of the boardwalk, we recommend that you keep your voices low.

There are no public phones available in the Blair Visitor Center.

There are no public restroom available on the boardwalk. (Public restrooms are available inside the Blair Visitor Center and outside by the parking lot entrance.)

Please follow the posted boardwalk rules, which are located at the entrance of the boardwalk.

  • No smoking - smoking is not permitted anywhere at the sanctuary
  • Stay on trail
  • Do not feed wildlife
  • No pets
  • Do not litter
  • Do not harass wildlife
  • Children must be supervised
  • Leave trail during high winds and lighting
  • Please walk

 We offer wheelchairs and strollers for use while at the sanctuary. They are available on a "first come" basis.
