Poisons and Potions Guided Walk

Discover the wicked ways of our plants and animals on a guided boardwalk tour.

Friday the 13th has long been connected to fear and apprehension.

But the real turmoil lurks all around us in the natural world. Seemingly innocuous plants and animals can spell doom for their unsuspecting victims.

Our witchy guides will lead you on a one mile boardwalk tour through the enchanted cypress forest where death lurks around every corner. Meet shrewd sorcerers along the way as they tempt you with their powerful poisons, devilish delights, and eerie elixirs. Uncover the wicked and deadly secrets of the plants and animals that call Southwest Florida home.

Don your best bewitching attire, or come as you are. Either way, you will be sure to enjoy this ghoulish gala.

Date: Friday, March 13th, 2020
Time: 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Meet in the Blair Audubon Visitor Center at 5:00 pm. Enjoy displays and potions from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Boardwalk tours, led by a witch or warlock, will depart the visitor center at approximately 5:30 pm.

*Adults only. Children 16-18 years old may attend but must be accompanied by an adult.

*Participants should not bring white-light flashlights, as those ruin everyone's night vision. We will have red-light flashlights that we will bring along in case we want to use them.
