Pokemon GO

Information for Pokémon trainers playing Pokémon GO at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary

Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is home to 20 PokéStops and 4 Gyms*! We welcome trainers to explore our boardwalk to visit these sites and hunt Pokémon, with paid admission. All Pokémon GO locations are in the Blair Audubon Center or along our 2.25-mile boardwalk. No Pokémon GO locations are in Corkscrew’s backcountry or in other areas closed to the general public. While hunting Pokémon on our boardwalk, please remember:

  • Be mindful of other visitors. Please use earbuds or silence your phones to keep noise to a minimum and be courteous of other visitors’ nature experience.
  • Be aware of your surroundings. Stay alert and pay attention to where you are and where you are walking. Unlike Pokémon, our wildlife are real– please don’t approach or attempt to capture them.
  • Enjoy the scenery! Take some time to enjoy our majestic old-growth forest and the diversity of wildlife within the Sanctuary. We hope you enjoy your visit and that we’ll see you back again soon!

* Please note that all locations were selected by game designers and Audubon Florida/Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary had no input on our inclusion within the game or selection of game locations. We present this information solely for the enjoyment of visitors.
