Scott is a Resource Manager for Corkscrew Swamp. He assists the Senior Resource Manager with the field work portion of the conservation and restoration activities at Corkscrew.
Scott attended Florida Gulf Coast University. He graduated in 2013 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies. While pursuing his degree, Scott volunteered for many Environmental Agencies, Happehtchee Center Inc., Rookery Bay, Koreshan State Historic Site, Audubon Florida, and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. After graduation, he joined the AmeriCorps Conservation Core program, first at Ravine Gardens/Dunn’s Creek State Parks with a second tour immediately following at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Activities while with AmeriCorps included participation in prescribed fires and mapping and removal of invasive plant species. Scott joined the Corkscrew team in October 2015.
