Julie McCann is the Director of Individual Giving for Audubon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. Julie joined Audubon in 2016. Julie has a Bachelor’s of business administration in marketing from Georgia State University and over 25 years of sales and fundraising experience. She worked in the office products industry for Eastman Kodak Company with extensive success in the national, medical, and government markets and lead business and product teams throughout the Eastern US. After Kodak, Julie had a sales consulting business and then volunteered for several NGO’s in positons from fundraising to President.
Julie believes strongly in the words of environmentalist Robert Swan, “the greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it. “
She also believes that investing in effective land management and the research needed to guide the work is critical for the future health, protection, and restoration of Florida’s wildlands and watersheds. Julie is a member of the AFP, Association of Fundraising Professionals and 100+ Women Who Care.
