Kathy Howle joined the staff at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary in 2016 and has been Membership Coordinator since 2018.
She left the world of retail furniture after many years, ready to do something in a different field. Having visited the Sanctuary many times in the years since moving to Naples in 1992, it was a perfect change of pace. The natural beauty and wildlife habitat that exists here is unique.
As Membership Coordinator, Kathy serves as a liaison between the Sanctuary and an important group of supporters: members of Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. Not only does she help keep them engaged in our mission of recreation and education but she enjoys facilitating their use of the boardwalk and addressing any questions about membership.
In time away from the Sanctuary, Kathy enjoys visiting Florida State Parks and other natural areas, especially if they have dog-friendly hiking trails for her two energetic Siberian Huskies.
