Corkscrew Swamp's ancient bald cypress forest is the world's largest remaining old growth bald cypress forest and was protected from logging in 1954. Join us for a three-hour tour along the 2.25-mile boardwalk through the ancient forest, with highlights on history, ecology, storytelling, and ancient cypress trees. There are occasional opportunities for rest along the way. Participants must be aged 16 or older. 

Timeframe: 9 a.m. to noon. This is a 2.25-mile walking tour that takes about 3 hours. 

Limit: 10 people​

Cost:    $30 per person (includes Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary boardwalk admission) for non-Corkscrew members

              $27 per person (includes Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary boardwalk admission) for National Audubon members.

              $12 per person for Corkscrew members.
