April 4, 2025 – Sally Stein, Director of Public Programs: Native Orchids and Bromeliads of Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary
Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary provides native habitat for many plant species, but few are more intriguing than its native orchids and bromeliads. During this lecture, you will learn about a variety of species found at the Sanctuary, how they thrive and how we protect them. You will also learn about the time of year you can expect to see some of our remarkable epiphytes in bloom, including the “Super” ghost orchid and cardinal air plant.
These lectures are free and exclusive to Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary members.
